Chantal Edwards

Chantal is an experienced office administrator who joined our GAS Operations Support Team in May 2017.   After arriving in New Zealand from her native South Africa on Christmas Day 2014, she immediately set about adding to her extensive experience across a broad range of industries and job roles.

During her career, Chantal has had opportunity to work in roles such as customer service, office management, data entry, accounts payable & receivable as well as general bookkeeping.  This has been in a diverse range of companies and organisations involved in such activities as audio & video equipment, car sales, real estate, banking, telecommunications, building fitout and even a high security correctional facility (as an employee, we must hasten to add!).   Chantal is a certified bookkeeper and a qualified real estate agent.

Chantal is married with two adult sons.  She admits to being something of a tomboy at times, enjoys outdoor adventure (among other things having thrown herself off the Bloukrans Bridge – highest bungee jump in the Southern Hemisphere) and will have a go at just about anything.  Unsurprisingly, her way of beating the Auckland traffic is to ride a motorbike to work.
